#GoodClothesFairPay

Wearing good clothes means the people who made them receive fair pay for their work.

But right now, most garment workers cannot afford to put food on the table, live in adequate housing, access healthcare, and struggle to send their children to school.

That’s why we launched Good Clothes, Fair Pay, a campaign collect one million signatures from EU citizens to call on the European Commission to introduce laws on living wages in the clothing industry. The EU is the largest consumer of clothing made worldwide, so it has the power to transform supply chains.

Good Clothes, Fair Pay is a European Citizens’ Initiative (ECI), which means that only EU citizens can sign. If you do not hold an EU passport or national ID document, your signature cannot be counted and verified. However, that doesn’t mean you can’t support us in reaching our goal of one million signatures. Every share on social media, every email forwarded to a friend or colleague, and every donation to the campaign is a huge help.
